Conceptual Framework of this Book

God told Daniel that the revelations he received would at first be sealed from human understanding, “for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end” (Dan. 12:9). I believe that now is the time for a correct understanding, after centuries of mistaken interpretations regarding the end-times. This book is a careful attempt to explore and “fill in the picture” of the eschatological puzzle using the entire Biblical Scripture cohesively within a conceptual framework of two peoples, Jew and Christian, who are God’s people of the New Covenant (Jer. 31:31; Matt. 26:28) united under one Messiah as “one new man” (Eph. 2:15). Using solid hermeneutical practices, I attempt to disprove some major aspects of the Pre-Tribulational “Rapture” theory because it produces a distorted picture of future events regarding the relationship between Jews and Christians. Redefining some important concepts that I believe have been misinterpreted (described little by little in the book), I have organized prophetic past, present, and future events into a logical and coherent sequence that more closely resembles historical reality and God’s eternal plans as presented in His Holy Scriptures. At the end, I highlight some of the similarities between Christian and Jewish eschatologies, and then describe the final outcome of God’s purposes with mankind while offering some suggestions as to what Christians can do as they await for the victorious convergence of both “peoples of the Book” and the fulfillment of all things.
